Who Is Driving Your Opportunity Away?

A few months back then, I had an idea on creating a web-based software for the ease of a targeted market group of people. But the idea was never realized and eventually it was shelved up. Until one day, I was happily surfing the Internet, and after a while something caught my attention.

It was a web system, of the exact same idea that I had a few months ago, and they seem to have done quite well on the sales, while I am still at the stage where I was previously. That very moment I was really feeling not so good in the sense that, “Hey, isn’t that the idea that I have got?”. I could have reap the profits from it. But why wasn’t I?

At that very moment, I am so much down with frustration, so much down with disappointment. I could foresee how much the profits I could have already been readily earning if I have created the program.

I couldn’t engage in a lawsuit to say that they copyrighted my idea, can I? I didn’t even do the documentation to file the source, I didn’t even get the Intellectual Property (IP) up, I didn’t even start to get anything done.

How much would I benefit if I have done it right then? How much have I missed out? The questions keep revolving at the back of my mind.

I am not sure how many of you people have encountered such similar incident before. But the point that I want to make to you is “don’t let procrastination overtakes you, don’t let procrastination overrules your mind”, and eventually things never get to run.

And, you are going to lose a big opportunity which could almost have already arrived at your doorstep. But you just slam your door and keep them away. And once they leave, they never come back.

So, why are we just letting procrastination to get into the way, when things could have been in a much better position, in a much desired lifestyle that we yearn for?

Start gathering all your shelved ideas and plans, organize them, and put them in a list. And break them up into tasks, and bring the task to action. The rule to the game is simple, and I assumed that most people already know that very well, it is only that they never get them started out. So what are you waiting for?
