Hi. I am also attending the UYMG here in Kuala Lumpur. We bought the package in Singapore at World Internet Marketing in May. I’ve been expecting to have a lot of hands on during the workshop but I’m very disappointed because instead of doing hands on, we’re here to just listen to a lot of presenters. Too bad! My expectations are high and some presenters under delivered. I’m not gonna buy another package anymore. Did you?

    Hi Cjosang,

unfortunately something cropped up, and I was unable to attend. Thereby I still have 2 tickets reserved for the next time. I can’t really give much opinions as I have not personally attended to give an account of how good or bad the event was.

Here is a little share, I have attended Jay Abraham’s 3 days seminar in Sept. And he mentioned on the first day of the event to keep an open mind, because if you ever got an idea out of the whole event, it could worth a million, be it related or not to what he is going to share during the 3 days.

Though he had spoke quite a lot during the 3 days event, but one thing that stays vividly in my mind which is systemize, and I have got an idea at the end of the event. Hence in general, I would think that it would be best to keep an open mind during any event, seminar or workshop.

I always believe this, it is not about what you have learnt in the event, it is about how you can implement that one or two things that you have got out of the event, to eventually get to your objective.

Think about what you have learnt at the end of the day, that stays vivid in your mind and you are going to implement it into your next big project. It may not be a technique, but an idea that you have generated out of the whole event. Implement it and see the results.

I hope that you are able to recall the very one thing that you can get out of the whole event.

UYMG was a disappointing event. It was just an over-rated, over-priced and under-delivered repeat of World Internet Summit in Singapore. Laptops weren’t even used to its fullest capacity. It was only used for taking down notes. Internet connection sucks. Speakers were not good and their packages were way expensive. I felt ripped off. :-(

    Hi Joy,

    Thanks for dropping by.

Hmm…seems like the UYMG really needs to do some revisions and improvise more hands on to the workshop, to live up to what should be termed as “workshop”. From what you have mentioned, it sounds much like a sales pitching session to me.

Just wondering, do they share information on strategies or tactics?
