5 Tips For Stress Management
Stress is an invisible poison to the mind. It is colorless; it is odorless. But it can greatly impact our lives and cause a disruption in work.
Look at how the dynamic society is advancing in today’s world and you will realize that people working and chasing after it are getting a lot of stress, which tends to be unavoidable. As fast as the technology goes, we can no longer be like the yesterdays where off from work will simply means concentrating your time and effort on other personal stuffs.
Where is the root of stress?
Now, it seems to be people are working, round the clock and regardless of having to be at workplace or at home. And what this is going to bring about is stress, and not having enough rest and time on relaxation, is going to enclose people in the negative thinking box of “work = money“. They work only for their bread and butter, and nothing else. The more they think of it in such a manner, the more they get trapped in the negative thinking box, and indirectly the more they are not going to be productivity and efficienct in their life and work.
How to break out of the negative box, and be productivity, and efficient?
Here’s 5 tips that I want to share with you.
Stress Management Tip #1 - Understand the need to manage your time properly
It is important to keep to your time schedule and work towards the invdividual event or task specific to be done or completely with the stated or specific time and deadline. Requesting for help when you really need it. Spend on time wisely on things and stuff that it urgent and important.
Stress Management Tip #2 - Relax
Relaxation helps to enable your mind and body to be recharged and re-energized.There are a variety and series of relaxation techniques that is able to help you to relax your mind and body. While some choose meditation, others may prefer physical exercise.
Stress Management Tip #3 - Breaks and Rests
It will be good to take a 5 minutes break or so in between your work every now and then, and get away from your work station during this period of break time. Drink more plain water instead of beverages. These will ensure that you can always get a refresh state of mind to be able to focus and concentrate well in work.
Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen. - Leonardo da Vinci
Stress Management Tip #4 - Spend time with optimists
It is important to be able to spend some time together with optimistic friends. Imagine what would you do if you were with a group of pessimistic friends that all of them are always grumbling about their jobs and stresses? You will also be infested with the mind as such. Hence, it is important to get together with friends having optimistic mindset.
Stress Management Tip #5 - Make plan
This is one of the most important tip against stress management, and one which most often, we do not keep to. It is essential to make plans before task advancement. This is due to the fact of a simple reason that is fear within the individual being.
Fear of uncertainty and unknown, simply creates stress. Hence, not knowing how much we have processed in our tasks, and how far are we away from completion, will create stress. Thereby, making plans about the tasks and tick off whatever task that we have completed, and being in control of ourselves will be able to reduce our stress indirectly.
These are some of the many ways that can help you to reduce your stress level, and get be a better self in your work and life.

I agree that “Fear” is one of the great problems that create the stress in the first place. Oftentimes, people have this crazy fear about things that they do not know, that they cannot control, and that they are not sure about. I am nw experimenting with EFT as a method to eliminate some stress

Yup, people fear of “fear” more than anything else, because it is pretty unknown, uncertain, etc.
