Seth Godin – Ideas that Spread, Win

I took a break to watch this video where Seth Godin presented the fact that ideas that spread will simply win. Have you ever put your products on advertisement and stuff, mass publicize your products to the public? And now, are you continuing to do so? The rules of the game have changed, so in order to stay in the game and win, you need to change too.

This video that presented the “ideas that spread, win” comes from “All Marketers Are Liars” by Seth Godin, of course. I truly admire Seth for breaking the hardcore marketing rules and exposing the clear ideas of marketing to businesses. And this will make you think deeper.

Here’s the video for you by Seth Godin on the idea of “Ideas that Spread, Win“:

Who is Seth Godin?

Seth Godin is an author of nine books that have been bestsellers around the world, and all of which change the way people think about marketing, change and work. And what’s more, Seth is the founder of the famous squidoo.com site.

I have got his first book “Unleashing the Ideavirus” years ago, while I was still in my school days. It is a hardcover version. But it got piled up in my bookshelves, until I re-organize my bookshelves and found this book, read through it. And thought this guy is amazing, but at that time, I still do not have any knowledge who Seth Godin was.

But then, I like the way he expressed the ideas and thoughts, and that really put me into thinking. And then I got the next book which is “The Purple Cow“, “Small Is The New Big“, “All Marketers Are Liars“, “Free Prize Inside“.

And now to add on to the collection, I have got his latest published book “The Dip” which talks about quitting, and why you or your organization should quit. It may be a pretty thin book, but the ideas are there. And it can make you ponder about the things that you have done, and made you start to think differently about quitting, as that have been taught in schools or in life.
