Do You Procrastinate? - Battle of Angel and Devil
Humans are born with a nature laziness behavior, that is proned to procrastinate, within their inner self. Everyone of us has it, regardless of our race, gender, demographic, income level, etc. No one is bound to escape from the fact that he or she has this kind of behavior, and no one can change this fact as well.
However, we have the choice to keep it under control, or let it controls us. It really is a tough choice, and rather a tough call. It is as if you were stuck in the middle of the junction, to look for the angel, or being lured by the devil. It seems as if we have the choice to be an angel’s friend or a slave to the devil unknowingly.
Angel VS Devil
To be an angel’s friend, you will need to cross several mountains and seas, to look for the special ladder that will get you to the heaven, with conditions to survive through tough and challenging ordeals along the way.
You do not need to go through so much hardship to get to meet the devil, because the devil comes right to your doorstep. And once you open your door and welcome him, you become the devil’s slave unknowingly. The devil is going to make an offer to you, lure you, tempt you, and do all sorts of things to captivate you.
And if you are not determined enough, you are bound to fall for his trap. You are going lose you freedom, your choice, and practically everything that you owned to the devil in exchange for the short term enjoyment that you can only get for a short period of time. Do you sums. Does it make a worthy deal?
Back to Reality
You are at the junction of your thoughts, and you need what you want to do. You may be telling yourself, I want to do up my report, I want to finish my job, I want to make 1million, I want this and I want that.
Procrastination is like walking into the devil’s trap. The moment you think about, or captivated by the thought of “I will do it tomorrow”, “I do not think I can do it”, and as such. You are slowly walking into the trap, every pace brings you closer and deeper into the trap when you are finding a lot of excuses for yourself.
To make a visit to the angel, the rule is simple, which is just to cross multiple mountains and seas, and meet with tons of difficulties along the way. But simple does not equivalent to easy. In fact it is not easy at all to fulfill the rule.
Very much to end and cure procrastination is to get ourselves to be determined, to face the hardship, to embrace the challenge and ordeals with faith and success. And eventually, you will be able to get to the greener side of the pasture, and visit the angel.
